Joshua Sanders
Executive Director

Joshua Sanders has had a dynamic career in the field of politics, political campaigns and issues. Joshua began his professional career after receiving his degree in political science from Texas State University. After serving in U.S. Congressman Henry Bonilla’s office, he went to work for Election Support Services in San Antonio running grassroots campaigns at the local level. David Dewhurst then hired Joshua as an aide to the Lt. Governor’s campaign for re-election. After the election, Joshua went to work for a federal tax reform advocacy group where he was responsible for implementing a national grassroots “presidential primary strategy” that generated extensive national media attention during the 2008 presidential election cycle. He traveled extensively through the early primary states organizing, planning, and implementing this issue campaign.

Joshua now serves as the Executive Director of Houstonians for Responsible Growth, a non-profit research and advocacy group promoting and protecting Houston’s successful model of regulating development through market driven consumer choice. He has been responsible for building the organization and their Political Action Committee.

Joshua grew up and graduated from Del Rio High School in Del Rio, Texas. He is the son of a retired fighter pilot and first grade teacher.
